The Composers Alliance of San Antonio presents its ninth edition

of Made in SA at the DoSeum on Sunday, 1/28/2024 at 3:00 p.m.

4 p.m. | Instrument Demonstrations

Young musicians will perform new music written by CASA composers on various instruments including piano, flute, clarinet, violin, cello, double bass, and tuba. Additionally, attendees have the special opportunity to learn about more instruments: Before and after the concert, from 2:00—3:00 p.m., and 4:00—5:00 p.m., there will be tables set up inside the DoSeum at which the teachers will demonstrate and talk about the instruments in the concert for interested audience members.

This is the ninth year of this event in which the composers of the Composers Alliance of San Antonio have composed pieces for young musicians in the San Antonio area to perform with the help of their teachers. This has been a wonderful collaboration and outreach for the city. During this time CASA has also produced five books of piano pieces and a documentary that has been featured around the world.
